Hello,

I am delighted to present my first article, which marks the launch of Lyd Hosting. This company is the result of a year of hard work to offer original, neat and low-cost offers. In this article, I want to trace the thread of events that led to the opening of Lyd Hosting and reveal the whole story behind this project.

- Who am I ?

I am a 24-year-old French boy, named Rémi Gaffet and born on January 6, 1999 in the town of Domart-en-Ponthieu, which has the particular advantage of having a primary school and a college, which has facilitated my education. I had to leave this village in May 2016 to settle in a town not far from there.

My interest for the computer started in 2006, thanks to my family environment which was interested in it. Some of my brothers and sisters even did programming and photo editing without ever making it their profession. Unlike them, my interest in computers has not ceased for all these years.

It was in 2008 that serious things started for me, when I joined the Britania forum. This forum was known to people who notably made "Habbo retro" and everyone could present their projects there. This strongly encouraged me to do the same.

It's a project called "Awarax" started in 2009, which made me want to launch a web hosting service at the time. During discussions with the manager of Awarax, he gave me his agreement so that I could rely on his infrastructure to deploy such a service. Being very inspired at the age of ten, I decided to name this project: RemHeberg.

Unfortunately, at that age, I didn't have enough knowledge to complete this project, and this idea was shelved rather quickly. The foundations of the project were far too shaky for this to be satisfactory.

A few years later, in 2010, with some additional knowledge, I was able to start BikeHosting, a free web hosting project that lasted about a year and had around 100 customers at its peak.

I was also able to offer free "dedicated sessions" services for a short time, thanks to the help of a generous stranger who paid for a dedicated server online so that I could offer such an offer. The only thing I remember about this stranger is that he lived in a Maghreb country.

At the time, a service called Exon also offered dedicated sessions. They contacted me to get me to stop offering my offer by threatening me with legal action. I can't remember what happened next, but I didn't really take those threats seriously.

BikeHosting was an original project financially, because I only had to pay the cost of a domain name. The rest was offered to me for free through a service that offered CPanel/WHM reseller plans in exchange for posting frequent messages on a forum.

So I put an end to this project mainly due to a lack of means, but I never gave up the idea of one day offering a service of this type. It was just necessary to postpone it.

Many years later...

I decided to get out of my condition as a homebody introvert in 2017. Which led me to join an integration project in February 2021 where I managed to receive my first income. However, in August 2021, I left this construction site in favor of a civic service in a retirement home, but I did not manage to manage the overflow of social interaction and I had to resign at the end one month.

I then realized that I had to accept my introverted nature and find a way to take advantage of my computer skills without constantly being in contact with others. That's when I decided to relaunch the services of BikeHosting by directing this new project towards the marketing of game servers.

I worked on the project for a year to fine-tune my offerings and make sure that Lyd Hosting (BikeHosting's new name picks along the way) would be ready to open. As the development progressed and the difficulties encountered, I also made the decision to offer additional offers to entrepreneurs through the sale of addons for WHMCS.

Finally, since my youngest age, I have always been interested in the infinite possibilities of computing and I have always wanted to offer my own hosting services. Despite the difficulties and failures encountered along the way, I finally managed to make this project a reality by creating Lyd Hosting.

Today, I am proud to announce that Lyd Hosting is finally open and ready to welcome you. I am convinced that Lyd Hosting will be able to meet all of your expectations and will be able to offer you quality service. If you are interested in our offers, do not hesitate to contact us to find out more or to place an order.

Thank you for your interest and I hope to see you again soon.
